Brian & I just got back from the Big Island for Memorial Day Weekend (Brian's B-Day present from way back). We had a great time & I took a butt load of pics...we have weened them down to under 100 photos...view them all here http://picasaweb.google.com/MHallowpoint/BigIslandTrip

-The volcano, a given...we stayed in the Volcano National Park at an old military base..pretty sweet.
-Hiking in & around the volcano
-Lava Tubes
-Steam Vents
-Drove along the coast
-Visited South Point
-Black Sand Beach
-Visited Kona
-Kayaked out to Cook's monument...with AWESOME "spinner dolphins" all around us

-Snorkeled at Cook's Monument
-Visited a bunch of waterfalls North of Hilo

these picture were beautiful. Loved the b&w one and that tree was prettty incredible! I'll be checking out the picassa web ones also. Sounds like it was an awesome weekend!

I read this a while ago, and didn't want to comment until I understood the sign and the rock thing. Don't worry - I just got it cuz Eric explained it to me. lol Anywho, you need to blog again! And, we're coming out probably in the beginning of october btw. Love you guys!
