The Bane of my Existence

If you live in Hawaii you will know exactly what I am talking about.  Every time you go to the movies and you sit down and you are looking forward to seeing some good previews... and then the stupid consolidated theaters intro comes on!  It is, no joke, like a minute long and really loud and annoying.  They own about 75 percent of the theaters in Hawaii, so I would say the really loud, annoying advertisement for the theater is unneeded.  I HATE IT!

This is only 30 seconds of the madness that you are forced to watch EVERY TIME you want to enjoy a movie.  And I forget about it every time until that first note plays... I think that intro must play over and OVER AND OVER AGAIN in Hell.

Ohhhh Yessss! That's hilarious and I totally remember how I annoyed I used to get. But then again, the guy in the leafy undies trying to do the hula dance is way buff!

hahaha The consolidated commercial is a bit annoying, but the thing that got me when I first went to a movie theater that was not on base was the fact that they didn't play the national anthem before the previews! Until I moved to Hawaii the only American movies I had ever watched were on military bases so I felt pretty silly when the full movie theater darkened and I stood up. . .only to have the wonderful consolidated commercial to begin. Luckily, my best friend was also from Okinawa and she stood up too! (we had a good giggle that lasted through the previews.) (^.^)v
