Here's a run through in no particular order of my trip home to Jersey.
Me & my wonderful sisters went to The Melting Pot in Philadelphia... if you haven't been its a trendy fondue place (look it up..I highly recommend it). Besides the wonderful dessert you see below, the highlight of my night was getting kicked by a bum..well, I should say he attempted to trip me & potentially take my purse, BUT I have cat like reflexes & saw it coming.
I went down to Wildwood with my mommy, sister Ange, and we brought my lil brother Brandon & my niece & nephew Alissa & Jared. We did the beach, pool, boardwalk, rides, games, etc etc. It was a fun time!
My main reason for going home of course was for my friend Elaine's wedding. Here is Elaine & her new husband Jeff. They make a gorgeous couple, and the wedding was beautiful!
I went to
Atlantic City with my Grandmom & Grandpop & Aunt Lori while I was home...we spent the day gambling then ended the day with lunch on the boardwalk...Mmm cheese steaks & boardwalk fries!!
Then I met up with my sisters & Ange's friends so we could celebrate
Ange's 23rd Birthday in AC ... we went to a good comedy show at the Tropicana where my Dad & step mom Pat met up with us...then us laidies headed out on the town. Here are me & my sisters before a night out, Ange & her g/fs, and my sister having too much fun..
I got to see
Isabelle while I was home...shes hangin on, God bless her.
Me & my brother, yes those are vampire teeth in my mouth =)
A
BBQ at my moms...we had a good time playting t-ball with the kids.
Highlight, by far my 50 year old Dad diving like 5 feet to catch the ball and OUT a 6 year old..Competitive much?!
I also spent my time
EATING...doing lots and lots of eating. Pizza, wings, hoagies, cheese steaks, Italian, Seafood, Wawa, boardwalk fudge, Ritas gelatis, cannollis (sp?), chinese (yes, I know I live near China, & one would think the chinese here would be good, but its nothing like what us Mainland people eat). Since I devoured most of my food, I couldn't quite take pics..but heres a few of my fav.'s... Time to start dieting so I can lose that weight I gained :-/
All in all I had a great trip home. Its always good to see family & friends but I did miss my hubby & the girls (our kitties), AND my relaxing lifestyle!
